4.6. Adjusting the quality level of video recordings

By default, the video file is recorded in the codec broadcast by the camera, and the MP4 container is used to compose the resulting file. To make efficient use of disk space, the user can reduce the quality of the resulting file. To do this, you need to enable the “Convert recorded video” option in the application properties (Figure 4.6.1), and then in the camera properties on the “Video recording” tab, set an acceptable quality level (Figure 4.6.2), focusing on the bitrate and framerate values.
