6.6. Transferring the configuration to another PC

To transfer application settings from one computer to another, you first need to install the application on the target computer. The installation file can be downloaded from https://anycam.io/

The permanent address for the current version of the application is:

https://anycam.io/downloads/anycam/AnyCam_Setup_x64.msi

Step-by-step installation instructions are provided in Section 1.3 of this manual.

After installation is complete, you must locate the settings files on the source computer:

C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\AnyCam\config.xml

and

C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\AnyCam\settings.xml

The files must be copied to the target PC in a folder

C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\AnyCam\

Please note that camera access passwords are stored encrypted in the configuration file. These passwords will not be decrypted on the target computer; the user must re-enter the credentials in the settings panel for each camera:
